In this episode of Nib On This, we talk to Tanya Chuturkova about her documentary Chocolate Road. The film explores the chocolate making process from cacao farming to the art of chocolate shaping. The three main characters are Danish chocolatier Mikkel Friis-Holm based in Copenhagen and bonbon artists Maribel Lieberman based in New York and Susumu Koyama based in Sanda, a small village in Japan.
Tanya will share with us how she came to film the documentary, her team’s creative journey and the life changing experiences they went through, from filming on cacao farms to going to the Salon du Chocolat in Paris.
Each month, we’ll have a different guest speaking about their experience with the wonderful world of chocolate and cacao. The “Nib on This” podcast is all about sharing inspirational chocolate stories from the past and discussing the future of chocolate.
